Here's the good news: the GK section score is usually not included in the calculation of your main XAT percentile. This means there's less pressure, and you can attempt the questions without the fear of it tanking your overall score. This is the part that makes it feel "easier" than the high-stakes Quant or Verbal sections.
However, the challenge lies in the sheer vastness of the syllabus. The questions can come from anywhere—recent business news, international affairs, static history, science, or even arts and literature. You simply cannot "master" it like a math formula.

GK section of XAT is memory based, so it is very easy to score in this section, if you know the answer and tough if you don't know the answer. Guess work or permutation-combination rarely work in GK as questions are mostly straightforward. There are 20 question, around 12 are from current affairs and 8 are from static GK. Questions are mainly asked from business, economy, politics, Science & tech, sports, awards and recognitions, global events.
