    If the college is recognised, affiliated to a reputed university and accredited by competent authorities then it must not be a bad college.

    Check affiliation ,ranking of the college/ University for its good or bad reputation.
    Ranking of various universities and colleges are always mentioned on there websites for example search for 'lpu ranking' in google for ranking of lovely professional university. and for affiliation check UGC website.
