    Of course, there is no rule that an average students cannot apply for MBA. You need minimum 50% in graduation. Yes, your academic percentage also matters, you may not be able to make it to XLRI or IIMs but definitely you will find other A grade colleges under state universities where criterion is sole CET performance
    Even if you cannot do that, you can tart job after graduation and later can pursue a part time MBA from tier 1 institutes like FMS, JBIMS, NMIMS
