Barath, There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. you can get into production, whether live or animated. Hi buddy,
If your ultimate aim is to do Journalism then I suggest go for direct Journalism program. It's a creative profession and yet have the best of the corporate life. There are several universities/Institute that are offering UG programs in Journalism and Mass Communication. Some of the best Institutes that you may consider are: Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, University of Technology and Management Shillong, Symbiosis Institute of Mass Commmunication etc. Hope it helps! Good luck

I think it would be better if you choose for a bachelor's other than journalism as it would give you knowledge from diversified fields and that is really required in academic scenario. Moreover, going for B J or etc. is something specific right after your 12th standard and you have already decided to have a master's in journalism after your graduation. You have rest of your total life to study journalism but you should start from a general graduation as this would open many ways, Bingo. Cheer-up.
    Regards.
