    It depends on your interest , it is a good career option and have good scope . But to get in to animation Eng is not compulsory .

    Sanju, if your interest is in animation then you are justified in learning it. Perhaps your engineering background will add to your skills. But before that be sure that you have the neccesary skills & talent to learn animation.
