Is it good to get placed in an IT company for B.Tech mechanical students? Will it be possible to join core companies in the future?

    Well, it is not good for a mechanical person to get into IT, but most of the students do that due to unavailability of jobs in mechanical sector and if you join IT, now then it will be very difficult to join core companies afterwards. I would advise you to seek an internship first even if you are not getting a job in Core Company and then move on.
