Is it good to have work experience before pursuing MBA? What role does it play during MBA admission and placements?

Hi,
Work experience is not required in India for regular MBA, but it is always better to have the same. It won't carry any weightage during MBA admissions. But, yes it will help you during your placements. It will be an added advantage.

Yes, It is always better to have work experience before pursuing MBA. It gives you a better insight into the working of an organisation and gives a better perspective while taking up the course. It gives us a better idea as to how an organisation and it's management works.
