Is it good to join NIT, Warangal for chemical engineering or NIT, Durgapur for mechanical engineering?

NITW has a better ranking. So I would recommend NITW. If you are unhappy with the branch you can always look forward to internal sliding and change after your first year.

NITW is good for chemical engineering in terms of placement, teaching quality and you will get good exposure there. Chemical field has good opportunities.

Chemical engineering at NIT, Warangal is better than doing mechanical at Durgapur. I am a student from NIT, Warangal and chemical engineering here has a very good package this year and the institute offers a very good role in this branch so choose accordingly. Good luck!
