Is it good to move to Chandigarh or Jaipur for colleges like CGC University, LPU and CU to pursue B.Tech in CSE in terms of placements?

Hi, Every university is doing its best but here I would like to recommend LPU for B.Tech (CSE). My brother did B.Tech (CSE) from LPU and he is working in an MNC now. I have visited LPU several times during his 4-year journey. I will highlight some of the features. The staff is highly qualified and most of them are Ph. This. The faculty has in-depth knowledge of the subjects they are teaching and are supportive too. The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends and is vetted by the company officials. LPU offers different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, and many more. In addition to it, the classes you have to attend regularly. They did not compromise with the academics of the students. If any faculty is on leave, the classes are either adjusted or makeup lectures are planned. The University also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to its students. The placements at LPU are excellent. Moreover, they give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job. The preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 4-10 LPA. If I talk about LPU alumni, Name any dream company (like Google, Apple, Oracle, Facebook, Yahoo, Microsoft, Snapdeal, etc. ). Dear Ansh, You are comparing a CLEAR LEADER in EDUCATION with ordinary education shops owned by same person. LPU has emerged as a clear leader in last 15 years in education on back of its solid performance in each and every parameter like curriculum development, teaching pedagogy, industry trainings, technology trainings, industry interface, industry certifications, entrepreneurship, design thinking, innovation and incubation labs, equipment ad infrastructure, centers for excellence by industry, professional enhancement, credit transfers and semester exchange programs, massive investments in intellectual capital and careful selection processes. The specializations offered within CSE are: IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data etc. There are more than 300 companies which hire CSE grads and most of them above 10 lacs per annum. As off now, there is no comparison between poor cousins near Chandigarh and a behemoth near Jalandhar. Hope this helps DVD.

As per my experience in LPU. Lovely professional University is best place for B.Tech CSE. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. It provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, soft skills class, etc.

CSE is a branch which is floated by all universities but qualitatively delivered by LPUas LPU donot leave any stone unturned for the better placements of the students. The curriculum which is floated to the students are meeting the needs of the industry. Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. More than 550 companies (more than 90% being MNC's) visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies, Asahi India, Ceasefire Industries, Sandhar Technologies, Indus tower, Decathlon Sports, Exide Industries, Emami, Eye-Q Vision, ITC Limited, Janalakshmai Financial Services, Kelloggs, MRF, Naukri, Moodys Analytics, WNS Global, Writer Corporation, Nivesh Group, OCWEN Financial, Practo etc. LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. Dear Ansh, from a few years the demand of computer graduates is very high in industries and IT sectors due to increment in application and software based automation processes. So, your choice of course is absolutely perfect to begin your career. Well every university is doing good for their students but as per my knowledge I can give you the insight of LPU as my cousin did B Tech from here and she is placed in cognizant with good salary package. 1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure and facilities are excellent as IITs, NITs. 2) In LPU, due to tie ups with leading companies such as SAP, Cognizant, Microsoft, BOSCH, CISCO, GOOGLE etc. , the syllabus of courses are vetted and inspected by these company professionals in the beginning of every semester. 3) The preparation of placement subjects such as soft skills, analytical skills etc. Are the part of curriculum here like, you will read these as subjects in every semester like other subjects. 4) There are more than twelve Center of Excellence established by the prestigious companies like Automation Any ware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence etc. For on campus Lab training and internships 5) The innovation studio of LPU is a benchmark for design and development center where students can work on their ideas. Why not? I think places do not decide where you should take admission. It should be the university which you should choose to pursue your higher studies. These universities in North are one of the best universities. LPU in my opinion tops the list among these.

For a good career, it always is good even if you have to leave home and go a little far away. If you are looking for quality education and good placements, along with learned faculty working hard on you to get you placed in the best of the companies, then LPU is the place for you to go for. Its main aim is to provide students with ample exposure both in the form of theoretical and practical knowledge for which there is much emphasis on workshops, live projects, etc. Along with classroom teaching. The university has made quality education possible for all by providing good scholarships under different categories.

Lovely Professional University is best at all in terms of education, infrastructure, faculty members, placement, extra co curricular activities etc. I have done my graduation and post graduation from the LPU and LPU is one of the great place for education where the management actually believe on actions rather than words. Whatever they promised they delivered to us along with in campus placement at good package and best time of life.
