There are two types of job profile available in MBA -IT
1) managing software workforce.
2) sales of software in various corporate.
Check which one is your cup of tea, then check which job profile is given by the college in MBA-IT from the placement officer directly
Search the job unsustainability and in hand salary also (CTC/package) from LinkedIn alumni tour.

If you are a B.Tech or engineering graduate in CSE or IT engineering then MBA in IT will help you in your career growth and good job opportunities. Otherwise, after completion of MBA, you may find difficulty in placements.
