Is it good to pursue B.Design from LPU?

There is never a guarantee for 100% placements. However, LPU is a good university.

Neha, LPU is one of the best universities in India. It is a UGC approved university which has been ranked highly by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its faculty, its placements, its teaching practices etc. The university provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. It is definitely the first choice of both national and international students.

Industry Immersion- Hands-on studio programme with advanced simulation work as well as intensive seminars and lectures from professionals that familiarize students with many theoretical debates, issues, case studies and methodologies. Professional Enhancement- In addition to core curricula, course offers subjects like communication and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. Software Skills- Curriculum is equipped with 21st century digital techniques in design extended by the deployment of laser cutters, digital 3D printers and scanners. Some more highlights- Extensive furniture design (carpentry and metal workshop) in which student gets the opportunity to make full scale furniture pieces with understanding of various joints, working and handling materials and evaluating the strength. Focus on application oriented teaching with live interior design projects, extensive modelling and field work. Students are exposed to real site situations through in-house and external visits for visual orientation. Uniform focus on presentation and working drawings.
