    Well, definitely it has a good career. But there will be a big competition in chemical engg. You should search for plastic engineering. Yes, it sound wierd but you should search for it on Google. I can also give you some details about it if you want.

    Thanks for asking this question. It is a branch of engineering in which you should have good knowledge of chemistry, physic and chemicals. Chemical engineers apply the principles of chemistry, biology, physics, and math to solve problems that involve the production or use of chemicals, fuel, drugs, food, and many other products.     It's based on your interest. It has a good scope. If you are interested in other subjects like communication, software development and mechanics then you can opt other branches.

    competition is high vacancys are less. Sometimes u may have to handle toxic chemicals which will have long term health effects. growth of chemical industry in india is sluggish. getting job in core sector is not easy as it was earlier.
