Is it good to pursue civil engineering from an NIT for a girl?

Civil Engineering has lot of field work because of which civil engineering was preferred by male students only. But nowadays even female students are doing it. Therefore, if female students are not averse to working in field areas under tough conditions, they can definitely do B.Tech Civil Engineer
