Is it good to pursue CSE from LPU or SASTRA University? How are its placements?

My brother B.Tech CSE studied in Lovely professional University and got placed in Amazon, So I heard many times about LPU from my brother and according to him: To enable the students LPU keeps pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum that provides the WILD CARD entry to the industry. Some of the industrial Tie-ups include Google, SAP, Cisco, Bosch, Dell EMC, VMware, PEGA Systems, Intel, Microsoft. Many tech giants enforcing the students to adapt to the technology advances. LPU provides Instill knowledge in the major areas of Computer Science and Engineering such as Artificial Intelligence, Networking, Databases, Data Analytics, Web Development, and Cloud Computing. In addition to core curricula in LPU, the course offers subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. There are good faculty members that help you become more dedicated to the studies and helps you at each and every phase in your studies. Faculty is best. They provide us basic as well as core knowledge and makes you learn in a better way. The way of teaching is much better and makes you aware of things around you. There is a huge opportunity to get placed in a good MNC through Lovely Professional University. Many placement drives are organised by the university to get more jobs for their students. Many companies visit here for placement drive, and it is awarded for the most number of placements in a year. Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU. Hi LPU is a brand name today for it engineering courses. 1. Computer Science is a branch which needs continuous endeavor by the student as well as the faculty as it is the demand of the market. For this you need a college of repute which would give you the best inputs for an all-round development. 2. Added to this, well-equipped nine story library and also a library each in various blocks. 3. Exposure of the students to the world market and a wide platform for the student to deal with the world level activities is a must. In my opinion LPU B.Tech CSE is the best branch going right now for many reasons. 4. LPU offers a complete package of quality teaching, intuitive learning aided with hands on practical training. It also offers good scholarship slabs based on various categories. It has also started the covid scholarship to aid education at such grim times. 5. The updated labs and the expertise of the faculty have given good results that today LPU is a name to reckon. If the talk is about placements, again 6. LPU has been awarded the National Employ-ability 2020 award for best placements as the top MNCs have recruited the students of LPU for many enviable positions. B.Tech CSE student has bagged a 42 LPA from Microsoft. 7. The number of companies visiting LPU are 700+ and select students for strategic positions, 8. The joint campus placements are with about 900 companies and ample opportunities for full time internships and on-the-Job training in reputed companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini would definitely leave LPU as a good choice. 9. LPU is a better option to pursue CSE. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Always go for institute that provides good education along with assured placements. Although both of these colleges are doing exceptionally well but it is suggested to go for institute that provides good infrastructure as it will help you in providing excellent platform to boost your skills. I have heard a lot about Lovely Professional University about its ranking, recognition, international tie-ups and placements. This year, IT giant CTS set a record for selecting the highest number of students from this university.

As per my experience in LPU. Lovely Professional University is best place for B.Tech CSE. LPU is great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. It provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, soft skills class, etc.
