Yes, it is one of the booming industry in India. India is also the hub for textiles. Candidates who have completed higher secondary course in any stream from a recognized board of examination are eligible to apply for Bachelor level programs. There is no minimum mark required in qualifying examination for being eligible. Those who are more than 23 years of age at the time of application are not eligible to apply. Eligible candidates will be short listed for general ability test. There will be multiple choice objective type questions in this examination. Candidates can expect questions from design aptitude as well as general aptitude in this examination. Those who have secured minimum marks for qualification in this test will be shortlisted for second round of test, which is known as creative ability test (CAT).
