Is it good to pursue hotel management from Chitkara University?

Dear Karan, Chitkara is a decently placed college for HM, but certainly not the best, I would say Lovely Professional University is best for pursuing Hotel Management course, My sister is pursuing BHMT from LPU, She said LPU School of Hotel Management and Tourism is among India's best Hotel Management and Tourism colleges that grooms students through industry endorsed curriculum and intensive service oriented practicals with industry exposure in excellent infrastructure. The school provides students with simulation labs, aviation labs, restaurant training labs, basic and advanced training kitchen labs that expose the students to real-life situations and environment. Apart from semester long industry internships, students also visit landmark tourist destinations and hotels to relate theory with industry practices. She also told me the School is conducting various workshops through which students are learning the live technical skills through tactical experiences. Students are achieving their targets of coming out with mind boggling ideas which showcased on the table essentials. They have celebrated World Tourism Day with the aim to provide a platform for the students to perform and compete with the participants from all schools of LPU, which will help them to develop new skills and do their best to promote the Hospitality and Tourism industry. She said, Students of LPU School of Hotel Management and Tourism created the longest salad bar measuring 311.2 metres, made up of 7 different types of vegetables and weighing 1259 Kg. The FEAT was on display at Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis. She also told that they have separate dept which looks after placement opportunities. Apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus, but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training. Some of the best brands like Ritz Carlton Florida (USA), Hyatt Regency Miami (USA) have selected our students with packages upto Rs 25 Lacs. Leading national brands like Oberoi, The Grand, Air Vistara etc. Visit our campus for recruitment's. Hyatt Regency Miami USA and Great Wolf Lodge Wisconsin selected 6 students at the package of 15 Lacs Per Annum. Yes, definitely. It's the best place to pursuing hotel management course. It has really a great learning exposure, good campus facilities for students, experienced faculty members, guest lecture or expert talk from industry experts. Masor hotels industry visits for student placements. Tie-up with Obroi, Marriott, Hyatt, The Leela Places, Radission, etc.

Hi, Opting and Institute is one of the difficult task. You cannot predict your prospective career but you can definitely choose the potential Institute which can nature you in a great personality around with the dynamic Academics. I will raise only few points: do comparison and rest decision is all yours: 1) make sure that you are going to learn a dynamic and industry oriented curriculum. 2) make sure that you are going to get a world class infrastructure. 3) make sure that your mentors our highly qualified and experienced. 4) make sure that your institutions is having a good industry tie-ups. 5) make sure your Institute is providing you and exposure through live projects. 6) make sure that your Institute is providing you and international exposure too. 7) to get the holistic growth and inclusive growth do check that is the institute is having a diversified culture? Are they going to give you a lesson of an integrity and sovereignty along with the studies. A day on the path of making you a good citizen of the nation. If you are not finding all these abilities and features in the above mentioned names I would like to suggest you one thing that please do add Lovely Professional University in your comparison list. I don't know about Chitkara university, however as LPU alumni, I can share detail of HM course at LPU. Hotel Management and Tourism colleges that grooms students through industry endorsed curriculum and intensive service oriented practicals with industry exposure in excellent infrastructure. Students are surrounded by peers from 70+ countries giving them an international edge. The school provides students with simulation labs, aviation labs, restaurant training labs, basic and advanced training kitchen labs that expose the students to real-life situations and environment. All guest of LPU stays in our hotel and its a opportunity provided to students to have hands on experience and learn simultaneously. They are ready for industry now.
