    Yes, it is as microbiology is a branch that has a wide scope in industries. it is useful for drug interaction, fermentation etc. while MLT equipped you with the process that involves lab testing.

    Yes, this will take you in a new successful direction as lab technicians are also available for particular microbiology so if you get Masters in it you may get something higher from it. Instead of continuing that you may apply for teaching too.
