Is it good to pursue MBA in IT after completing B.Tech? Which are the good colleges for the same?

MBA in IT after B.Tech, well since you haven't informed about your branch in B.Tech, I can answer with this limited information. YES you can do MBA after B.Tech in any branch. MBA will complement your technical skills with management skills, you can move upwards in corporate ladder a bit more quickly, MBA get you into the positions of decision making, thus your value in the organisation would also increase. But this also depends on the branch of your B.Tech, if it is IT itself, then you may grow in the same field, while if it is an other, you can grow in many ways. Most of the universities and colleges offer MBA in many of its subtypes and specializations. Provided that you clear the minimum eligibility criteria and selection process. In most of the top institutions like Iims etc. The minimum eligibility for graduation is 50% aggregate while some top players like LPU have fixed it at 55% in any stream of graduation. But the marks in graduation are not the only criteria, most of the institutions also take entrance tests or group discussions or interviews or all of them. Some top entrance examinations are: CAT MAT XAT SNAP IBSAT and LPU NEST. So, it is perfectly okay to do MBA after B Tech provided you are eligible as per marks and also comply with the other selection criteria if any. Very important point that comes to my mind is : You must first check your interests, attitude, passion and aspiration before taking a plunge, your aptitude will be checked by the university itself with the examination or interview. It is advisable to pursue the MBA only from top institutions, as only they provide the right launchpad for your career. Hello, Yes, MBA after Engineering is definitely good option. If it is MBA in IT then it is like cherry on top.
