Is it good to pursue MBA instrumentation, being a B.Tech student of instrumentation?

Generally engineering students from all domains like Electronics, Instrumentation Computer Sciences etc pursue a degree in management when they would like to grow into a more Managerial role from an engineering role. Many companies prefer students with such work experience.
