Yes, electrical engineering has great prospects in Canadian universities, you can get jobs in renewable sector mainly.

You can earn around 60000 CA$ to 70000 CA$ per annum, which means, you can earn around 30 L to 35 L in an year, but your hard work and skill will lead you in life. It is tough but not impossible.
