Is it good to pursue taxation course and MBA?

Hi there i have completed my B.com graduation this year and doing a short term taxation course in St' Xavier's College.Apart from this i want to study MBA in Finance.So can anybody please tell me is there any link between the taxation course which i am doing and MBA in Finance?

    Taxation, by itself, is a separate career path. If you are aiming at becoming a tax consultant in the long run, the right option would be to look at pursuing the Chartered Accountancy (CA) program. A short term taxation course will in no way add value. On the other hand, pursuing a PGDM \ MBA program, will open a lot of avenues for you in terms of career growth. You can look at, stock markets, treasury, merchant banking, retail banking and a host of other areas.
