Hi, There are many mock tests/sample tests available online to check your current preparation level for GMAT. Take those and see how much more preparation is required and plan accordingly. Studying for GMAT in 2nd year of your B.Com would help you gain more insight of everything and choosing institutions for the same depends on the place where you live let's take an example that you live in Bombay but you want to choose the class that are only there in Chennai then this is not a good

Yes it is good to start preparing for GMAT from second you will get enough to prepare. If you are staying in chennai then opt for an instute there itself which gives good coaching for GMAT.
