The Florida State University acceptance rate is 25%. This demonstrates that the university's selection standards are, in some way, more stringent than those of many US universities. The university's doors are always open, though, to applicants who meet the requirements—which include competency in the English language, letters of recommendation, essays, strong resumes, transcripts, and more—and who have outstanding academic records and GPAs. Additionally, students who participate in extracurricular activities and have relevant expertise are given preference.
