Kyoto University is one of the most competitive and challenging to enter. The university is one of the most prestigious in Japan and has a rigorous admission process. For undergraduate programs, it is mandatory to pass the National Center Test for the University Admissions, with an average score of about 70% to 90%. For admission to graduate programs, candidates generally should have good academic standing with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
