    The minimum entry GPA for the psychiatric nursing programme is normally about 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. This is equivalent to a B- or higher grade. Admission to the programme, however, is tough, and reaching the minimum GPA required does not ensure entrance.

    Aside from the GPA criterion, applicants may be needed to attend an interview as well as submit reference letters, a personal statement, and other application materials. These variables are also taken into account in the admissions decision. Admission standards may differ from year to year, and completing the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the programme.
