Is it hard to get into Northeastern University?

<p>Northeastern University admission demands strong competition from its applicant pool. Each year Northeastern University reviews 64,000 undergraduate applications together with 15,000 graduate applications. Around 18.4% of undergraduate applicants achieve acceptance together with 25.4% of graduate applicants. A strong academic standing consisting of a minimum GPA meets application standards at Northeastern University through 3.5 for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduate students. Results from standardized admissions exams like SAT and ACT fall within 1360 to 1540 for middle 50% percent of the undergraduate applicant pool. Every applicant for admission must show proficiency in the English language by achieving scores above 79 on the TOEFL test and reaching 6.5 on the IEL TS exam.</p>
