Yes, it is considered hard to get into NUS-ISS as their programs are highly competitive, attracting thousands of applicants each year out of which the rate of acceptance is only 5%. Moreover, you are expected to have an above average GPA of at least 3.0 which makes it even more selective. Finally, you are expected to qualify an interview which ultimately determines your admission.
