It is not difficult to get into Portland Community College. It has an acceptance rate of 100%. The college has an open admission policy where all qualified students having the minimum requirements get in. Students are required to have a high school diploma or GED certificate. It does not require SAT or ACT scores which is also a relief for students. English proficiency test scores are also not compulsory for admission as the college offers English as a Second Language (ESL) program that helps non-native English speakers improve their English language skills. Applications are accepted year-round.
