Purdue University's acceptance rate falls around 49.87%, making it moderately selective but less competitive than other universities in the U.S.

Purdue uses several evaluation factors, including GPA, minimum high school expectations, SAT or ACT scores, College essay, personal background and experiences, etc. Thus, students must focus on a holistic approach while building their profiles. Statistically, Purdue University selects only 50 candidates out of every 100 applicants, making it relatively competitive. With a well-rounded profile and academic background, one can expect better chances of admission.  &nbs

As per the official enrolment statistics, Purdue acceptance rate is 53%, which means out of every 100 applications only 50 are selected by the university. This means that the university is ‘more selective’ when it comes to admissions. In short, Purdue admissions are competitive and gives preference to students having exceptional academic background. Hence, having higher grades increases your chance of getting selected at Purdue University.
