Is it hard to get into School of Visual Arts?

<p>Acceptance rate of SVA is fairly selective, with acceptance rate of about 70-80%. For admission to the program, applicants must provide a collection of personal works, which should include 12-15 artworks; academic records, letters of recommendation, and personal essay. For the middle 50% of students the admission profile looks like this: GPA 3.2+ and SAT scores from 1080 to 1280. International students are also required to pass English proficiency with minimum TOEFL score of 79 or IELTS score of 6. The total annual expense that a student has to pay to get admitted into SVA is nearly INR 43.59lakhs, which is quite a large amount to spend on a course.</p>
