Is it hard to get into TAMU?

On an average once a student submits TAMU application it will take 3-5 business days to receive it. For fall semesters the university tries to provide a solid decision to all applicants by March end

TAMU has a holistic approach for evaluation of applicants and focuses on following major criteria-

• Application and essay
• class rank
• SAT/ ACT scores (Optional)
• Co curricular activities like internships or volunteering
• Talents, awards and honors

Students need to submit the following minimum english test scores to be able to enroll at TAMU-

• TOEFL iBT- 80
• SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW)- 560
• ACT English-  21
• IELTS Academic- 6.0

Texas A&M university suggests the tips mentioned below-

• Students shouldn't write complete autobiography but make use of specific instance.
• They should be authentic and concise about their topic of focus
• Dont just recount an experience and instead focus on its impact
• Should be true to their writing style
