Is IT having less scope than computer engineering?

CSE and IT graduation has similar scope and opportunities. In majority of engineering colleges CSE is preferred by toppers on entrance examination. Because of which recruiters prefer CSE graduates over IT graduates.

The scopes keep varying from time to time Ajay. Both branches are good.
