Is it illegal to get enrolled in two universities at the same time in India?

I did BA from School of Open Learning, University of Delhi (2011-2014). Simultaneously, I joined a certificate course from another state university(2013-2014).

    Dear Vijay,
As per the new UGC guidelines, you can easily pursue a degree course from DU and another course from different university. All you need to keep in mind is that you should not pursue to regular degree courses at a same time.
