Is it important for IIMs that you belong to a good college? If I am from a bad college or university can I not get admission in IIMs?

No, they will still choose the best, but believe me college is not the parameter and that is the reason why they are IIM and not some average B-School.

Hi Kishan, It's not the case, however, being from a good college would mean that you have already been in the best environments and have learned quite a lot from your time there.
