Is it important for institute to b recognized by aicte. wat r drawbacks if an known mba b schoolis not recognized by aicte. like icfai

Hi, Well one should preferably opt for MBA from recognized and approved institute. Apart from AICTE, you may also consider UGC, NBA, NAAC. Apart from Recognition, Faculty, Course Material, Quality Education, Fees, Infrastructure and most important Placements, all these are the factors that define a good and reputed college. I agree accreditation plays a vital role but its not true that non-recognized institutes are bad. There are many educational hubs that offer good placements and facilities even if not AICTE approved. I believe that major concern is always with the placements, for the same, I would say that whichever college you may opt for, apart from the assistance from the placement team you need to make your own efforts as no institute can guarantee you that as it entirely depends on your capabilities and utilization of skills at the right time.
