Is it important to buy a laptop in the 2nd year of B.Tech for CSE students? If yes, which laptop should I buy?

I'd say yes, it is important. It will allow you to practice programming languages; you'll not have to fully depend on your college. In addition to this, you can also work on your own projects like app, game, website or whatever it is. I would recommend to buy at least i3 processor, 4gb RAM, 500GB HD
