Is it important to cancel admission before leaving the college?
I took admission for B.Tech in Northern India Engineering College in 2014 but gave up going to the college after 1st semester then I took my certificates back and took admission for B.Sc in IGNOU. Now I want to pursue M.Sc.

Not really, you may take the admission directly.
