ICAR accreditation proves that University has all the infrastructure, equipment and faculty to run this programme with full efficiency and desired affect. However the stringent norms of ICAR make it difficult for ordinary educators to get accreditation, LPU was the first and only private university of its time which got the ICAR approval. The phenomenal progress that LPU has done in the research, teaching, and curriculum development in these programs in top-notch. Hope this helps

Hi, Yes, it is very important to pursue B.Sc. Agriculture from universities. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country. If the University is ICAR approved, It means the university has all the resources like fields, labs, etc. Thanks.

It is very difficult to get ICAR accreditation as ICAR accreditation proves that University has all the infrastructure, equipment and faculty to run this programme with full efficiency and desired affect. It is worth mentioning that LPU is the only private university which is ICAR accredited. One piece of advise, never ever play with your career. Do check the rankings and accretions before joining. Hope it helps.

ICAR accreditation is required as it ensures that the quality of curriculum, infrastructure and teaching pedagogy is upto the required level. As the programs are highly in demand, the quality becomes important. These programs actually form the base of talent which is required in major employer in India I. e Agriculture.

    Hello!
Yes, recognition by ICAR for the college, University and the course are compulsory. ICAR is not compulsory for B.Sc. Agriculture. You can join through private admission or through state entrance exam ( if there is any ) or entrance exam conducted by the concerned college. LPU is the first private university to get the ICAR accreditation.
