Yes, it is important to appear for GMAT. You can also appear for GRE for the same.

Job perspective employers always prefer students who have taken the GMAT and scored well. This will now depend on your career plans and interests. Know your priorities and what you want. You can also attempt GRE in place of GMAT.

Hello, You can give GRE too (if eligible). GMAT is widely accepted across the world by several esteemed B-schools, hence it is the most preferred/suggested choice.

Yes, it is important, but in some country, like Germany there is no need of getting GMAT.

Hi, It is important if you are planning for an MBA from a top-ranked university. But there are a couple of universities mainly in Europe which do not require GMAT.
