Is it mandatory for a student to attempt the biology section in KVPY exam?

I am a computer science student and planning to appear for KVPY exam.

    I think it is not necessary. Besides, I don't think like you will get to write biology exam in a computer based examinations. Ask with the experts or respected lectures, or ask from the examination authority.
