    Thank you aru.chopra.
Hi Shalini, Even there is practice of writing Dr., CA, Adv., etc. for different professionals but it is not compulsory for anyone to do so. This must be written in the documents of their respective profession for example Doctor has to write Dr. before his name when he write medicines like wise CA has to CA before his name while signing the paper for IT Department.

Well the prefix is not at all mandatory. But if you have achieved a prefix for yourself, I don't think anyone would not use it.
CA is not required to quote that he/she is CA anywhere except while doing attesting function and thats also is used after his/her name i.e. like
    Akshay Jain
    Chartered Accountant.
    So there is no compulsion.

    Hi,
If you are into a profession that allows you for prefix to your name, ideal situation would be that you should go for it.
    Thanks
