is it mandatory for ca to prefix ca before his name?
for a phd it is mandatory to prefix dr. before name , this kind of situation is necessary for ca or not?

Hi Shalini, Even there is practice of writing Dr., CA, Adv., etc. for different professionals but it is not compulsory for anyone to do so. This must be written in the documents of their respective profession for example Doctor has to write Dr. before his name when he writ

Well the prefix is not at all mandatory. But if you have achieved a prefix for yourself, I don't think anyone would not use it.
CA is not required to quote that he/she is CA anywhere except while doing attesting function and thats also is used after his/her name i.e. like
