Yes, unlike other universities, Northwest Missouri State University requires all its first-time freshmen to live in the designated residence halls unless they are married, and are atleast 21 years of age or are commuting from their parents' or lifetime guardian's primary residence. Around 41% of the admitted students live on-campus.
