LPUNEST is not mandatory for admission to all programs at LPU. Direct admission is available for various programs such as B.Sc. (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Microbiology), BCA (Cyber Security, AI, Data Science), BBA (Hons.), and many others. However, LPUNEST is also a scholarship test, and taking it can help secure scholarships for your program, which will be valid for the entire duration of the course.

LPU NEST is required for admission to certain courses, especially engineering, management, and law. For some courses, it may be optional or only required for scholarship eligibility, so check the specific programme requirements on the LPU website.
