    No, it's not important to give both the exams but you should give it for enhancing your score.

    The JEE Main exam has two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (B.E. /B.Tech) and is conducted in online mode (computer-based). Paper 2 is for admission to undergraduate architecture courses (B.Arch/B.Planning) and has three parts - Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Test. The Mathematics and Aptitude Test are conducted in online mode, while the Drawing Test is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based).
