Is it mandatory to give the entrance exams of the colleges for biotechnology? Do all colleges have their own entrance exams?

In Biotechnology: Admission Process: For admission to the course, eligible candidates are needed to qualify a relevant entrance examination, conducted at any of institute, state and national levels. Two subsequent rounds of group discussion and personal interview subsequently follow for assessment of candidates general aptitude for the course. Some of the major entrance tests conducted in India for admission to the course are listed below. AIIMS Biotechnology Entrance Test JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination CBEEE (Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination) DU (University of Delhi) Biotechnology Entrance Examination. However, some colleges also admit students based on their performance in the last qualifying examination.
