Is it mandatory to have a PhD degree to become a lecturer?

Hi,
To becoming a lecturer it is not necessary to having PHD degree. You just need to have minimum 55%marks at your post graduation degree than you can appear for UGC NET exam. If you could able to clear this exam there after you can apply for the post of lecturer at any colle
