is it mandatory to study only in AICTC approved Universities or colleges..?

As per the rules for higher education in India, UGC is given statuary power to regulate the university education and the recognition of university is comes under the previlage of UGC without the UGC recognition no institute or university is empowered to provide any degree to the student. In the same manner AICTE is given the power to regulate the technical courses in India and no Institute except university (Only in the campus) is empowered to provide the technical education to the student and affiliation of university is given after the approval of AICTE to institute. Therefore it is mandatory for a college or Institute take the approval of AICTE for running the technical course and it is mandatory for a college and institute to take the recognition from AICTE for running those courses. Therefore study in AICTE Approved institute or UGC approved university is advisable to the candidate otherwise you are facing some trouble at the time of placement or you are not eligible to government job.

no it is not compulsory if a college is well reputed. if college is new than u should not take ur chances
