The Eligibility for B.Tech is passing with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent), subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST is mandatory in case you have not appeared for IIT JEE. The IIT JEE score card can get an entry into LPU CSE. Yes, it is mandatory to give LPU NEST for every student irrespective of the percentage in boards or any other examination. You'll still have to give LPU NEST for most of the programs and there are some cases in LPU NEST that can be exempted but in the usual scenario, you'll have to attempt LPU NEST
