Is it necessary for me to drop a year and prepare for next year's JEE?

I've miserably failed in JEE Mains with a score of 22, got a rank of 18346 in COMEDK, a rank of 34454 in KCET and a rank of 25100 in Manipal Engineering Entrance Exam. I can expect only biomedical stream in Manipal. What should I do? I don't really have an idea of what to do next.

It depend upon your interest, passion, hard work that you have to do mean you have to study approximately 10 hour this year to get selected in JEE if you really do so then go for it. As every year competition are increasing day by day so you have to compete the test.
Still many private college who takes admission through your 12th marks so if you think you can't do best next year then join any private college.
    All the best.
