Is it necessary that for doing Ph.D need to do M.Tech from IIT/NIT only? Will my M.Tech from VTU Karnataka accetable or not?
Hi, I am a PhD aspirant. I've done my MTech from VTU, Karnataka. I learnt from a colleague that I cannot do my PhD directly as I have not done my MTech from a premier institute (IIT, NIT). I was suggested to do a masters course @ Germany n then continue for PhD. Kindly help me out in this

Hi Vinay,
Its not the thing, whatever you heard ... is false.
For doing PhD you are eligible and you can take admission for PhD easily ... you just need to appear for its entrance .... crack it ... and admit for PhD. its simple.
You dont need to go germany and elsewhere.
